Silk Paintings -Gutta Style

My wife used French dyes and the gutta method to produce these floral paintings. The back grounds were produced using solid colour, gutta stenciling, and salt addition to the dye.













Her paint rendering within the gutta lines leans more to a natural look with gradations and blending of colours rather than dyeing a solid colour.
