Pyrographic Dragon's Eye Buttons -Painted with Fluid Acrylic Paints

 Going over some of my works I noted I had not posted the Dragon's Eye buttons I had made.  Many of the ones I have made were sold at medieval festivals.

I draw the eye on a 1" diameter wooden button then burn the lines into the wooden button.  Finally I use acrylic fluid paints to fill in the spaces.  Shellack, shank and signing finished each button for sale.

I have made other cat, rose, coneflower, petunia, sunflower, and columbine buttons.  Many of these have been bought by button collectors.  I will post those I have left.
