Manuela's Punchneedle Monarch Butterfly on a Daisy

While Covid runs roughshod, daffodils pushed through to smile upon the day.  Our thoughts turned toward garden preparations -such projects give purpose and take one's mind off the issues surrounding us. As far as gardening is concerned, I'm thinking to naturalize areas of our grounds -clover on the slopes, wild flowers on some of the flat areas.  Daisies grow well on our property and they have attracted butterflies -especially Monarchs and Swallowtails.  Manuela had photographed a Monarch butterfly and turned the photo into a punch needle design and then art piece.
