Manuela's Feathers made from Blue Jeans

 Manuela has incorporated feathers into her fabric art pieces. Often we find feathers around the 10 bird feeders we have in our yard. Because of the fragility of the feathers as objects in her art works she created these feathers from blue jean material.  One of the  blue jean feathers was used on a piece of hand dyed fabric to make a book mark. Manuela used a Sharpie to colour the brown feather and created the seams using free motion stitchery.
