I have been doing oil pastel pictures of areas around the house. Even the backyard has become inspiration for my oil pastels. We had a heavy snow fall in one day that weighed the tree branches down. I even lost some of the tree branches with the sudden weight. Again I find the difference in working the oil pastels on the grey/green surface different than on the white. I applied the oil pastels in an impasto technique
