Blue Jean Embellishments

While my husband works on his furniture I will interject with a post on the fabric art work I embellished onto my blue jeans.

I cut out the material for the shapes from copper sequined fabric and then applied the shapes to the jeans that I had undone at the seam. I sewed metallic ribbon as stems joining the fabric leaves. I also added spots of glass seed beads as accents.

The jeans looked up scale and at the last few events my husband and I attended I received a number of favorable comments. A Victorian type blouse and a jacket rounded out the look, that can be worn anywhere.
