Burnt and Painted Chair: Underpainting (part of my creative process)

After I burnt further details into the chair, I began the underpainting with acrylic paints. Not only did I block the basic colours I began to establish the value system of the composition.
So far 4 hours of underpainting. Time to let it dry before further colour is added.
