Oil Pastel Art -Grey Grasses Along the Highway

Again I used the variety of grey Sennelier oil pastels to paint/draw the grasses bent over with frost and snow.  I used solvent and pastel to paint the pastel on to the image and create the sharpness of the foreground grasses, and background bushes.  This time the colours of the grey oil pastel came through.  I liked the push of the grasses across the snow; the snow became the negative spaces along with the sky shapes between the trees.  Despite the bend of the grasses, I sense that quiet moment in time.
