Figures In My Oil Pastel Landscapes

Over two days I completed two 4" x 6" oil pastel island scapes with figures.  The size created issues with respect to rendering the figures in the landscape but I persevered.  Tis a learning experience.

In both scenes my granddaughters are picking blue berries which grow abundantly on our island and in past years have attracted bears to come and forage.  We pick the blue berries to deter the bear's swimming over.

After looking at the images on the website I might be inclined to adjust details.  Trying to create a light colour palette is a challenge with the Sennelier oil pastels as the colour are intense in hue and therefore darker.  Blending with white does not always work to the advantage of the image.
