A Day Oil Pastel of Trees in the Back Yard

 The sun hit the trees in the back yard in a way that made the trees appear reddish and the sky was that early spring cold.  I used a grey illustration board and it added to the image. The painting/drawing is done in Sennelier oil pastels and is a small 4" x 6."
