The wood burning (pyrography) of the image for the sky series has been done and now the painting begins. I am having difficulty transferring the original coloration from the small sketch to the larger piece. With the burnt lines the image becomes more abstract which creates its own identity issues.

This burning came from the original drawing and took in account of the grain of the plywood panel. |

Now the acrylic paint is being applied. But I have a heck of a time figuring out the colours to convey that stillness of the moment. |

I repainted it all and I can't get pass the too much yellow. I will set aside for now and then repaint . |
