A Winter Cottage Marshtoon

With the fluctuations in temperatures I'm not so sure whether or not the hibernation of animals has not been affected.  Here we are in the middle of January and the temperatures have been as low as -14 C and as high as 8C.  These fluctuations must be playing havoc with the outdoor sports and activities as well.  Up at the cottage ice fishing has occurred each year when the lake freezes over.  I'm not sure what's happening now -and so the marshtoon.
