A Quilt Piece -a New Direction

Mannie has begun a rather large piece that could become a quilt piece or another wall hanging.  She began with a dyed piece of fabric and painted a reflective face in black.  After applying a doily around round mirrors she spent time to arranging them in a composition.  Once the composition has been established she will begin the embroidery.

Mannie has been cutting the back of the canvass to insert batting to puff out parts of the image.

And so another series begins.  Mannie has determined a theme but as she works things evolve serendipitously of their own.
