Exploring Embroidery Stitches -Hexagon using Geli Plated Fabric #1 by Manuela
To break monotony Manuela changed the hexagon background from denim to gel plated fabrics she has in her stash. So, the background is Gelli plated fabric that has been machine stitched together and then formed into a hexagon shape. Then, Manuela went to work, hand embroidering with ribbons, embroidery and silk floss, knitting and punch needle yarns -and a small metallic dragonfly. The hexagon appears quite lively and lovely to look at.
So, now, Manuela has two projects on the go as she continues to explore a variety of embroidery stitches.
