We have not been bogging for some time. I have been working on a graphic novel and Manuela has been in the studio experimenting with gel plates and other fabric arts. She has been working on covering the 17 + journals we have for our island cottage. While doing them she began to use the fabrics she had gel plate printed and began to work with collage.
Come collage work she has begun to frame; others she has put onto canvasses with wrap around.
This image was put onto a 5"x 7" canvass. The canvass was gel plated; the cat was felted; the birds and fern were cut out of gel plated fabric or painted fabric.
