Butterflies, Rings and Circles -- a Fabric Collage By Manuela

Manuela spends each day in the studio working out  her fabric art images.  Here, she  gel plate printed and painted a piece of cotton fabric.  She then enhanced the fabric with a free motion machine embroidered background .  The butterflies, rings and circles were made from other fabric pieces that had also bee printed or painted.  The completed fabric was then affixed to  an 8" x 10" canvas board and then placed into a frame that accented the curved symbols.
