Oil Pastel- Island Landscape done at One Sitting

Between bouts of snow blowing a 150' x 40' driveway and shovelling snow from all the walk ways both back and front, I have found some time to do small 5" x 7" oil pastel art works.  I am working on an island fall landscape theme at this time.  During the stay-at-home pandemic doing these small images is a reminder of good times and quiet places .  The process continues to be the same -drawing, fixative, underpainting one colour for value, Sennelier impasto painting-and this allows me to fiddle with the pigment strokes.

I realize there is a flash issue with the image.  Hmmm.  I will need to look into this.  Part of the issue might be the lighting used in the light box I built.
