Storybook Wall Paintings

Along with our son and daughter-in-law, my wife and I helped paint a bedroom for our granddaughter and then everyone assisted in adding storybook figures to some of the walls. Again, we all went through quite the learning curve but you can judge our success by the end product. We used some great brushes that we bought at a local art store and picked up decorator acrylic paints in the small plastic bottles at a department store.

Our granddaughter was able to match the figures on the wall with the figures in books and on posters we had used to make the drawings. She was most happy with the figures and her new bedroom.
