Fabric/Art Cards by Manuela

4” x 6” fabric/art card by Manuela $30    Unique, handmade.

 Manuela has begun to clean out the studio.  She found unused inks, paint and markers -anew source for dying material stored away.  For a few days she used all the old pigments to make old fabrics new.  In order to keep busy -never mind the paper and fabric beads and new coil baskets using those beads- she cut, applied and embellished fabric/art cards.

Manuela has sent me a good morning each day I have languished in the hospital.  This one was a delight.

You can see the dyed material, the sculpture paste, appliqué, and stitching used.

And, Manuela did one for our granddaughter’s birthday.
