Manuela's Wintery Coiled Basket Revisited

 Manuela had made this coiled basket as a winter piece. She noticed it while she was in the studio during the hot spell that descended upon us this week. Manuela has been looking at homemade beads this week and noted her use of the pearl beads to enhance the wintery image. She is looking to make beads that complement the structure, textures and colours of some baskets she is planning to make.  With this wintery basket Manuela had wrapped the core with white textured yarn and wrapped the pearl beads around the yarn coil to create a rope which was used to wrap around the basket. Note the random coils that have become a trademark in her coiled baskets.
