Coloured Pencil Drawings -Prelims to Textile/Fabric Art

Many of our ideas find their way to pencil or pen before being placed into embroidery, silk painting, acrylic painting and even pyrographic paintings and furniture.

Here are flower drawings my wife did in coloured pencil that will eventually find their way into her silk paintings, embroidery work, applique, punch needle, etc -I never know what she is into next until she's into it.




Now Serendipity plays an important part in our work as the work evolves and changes as we proceed -but often there are preliminary sketches of parts of what will be in the final picture.
