Pillows as Textile/Fabric Art

Embroidered and embellished pillows were a focus of my wife's artistic endeavours and continue to be so when she is presented with a home decor commission. She had discovered printing photos onto cloth and so incorporated the images -(often taken my our son-in law- Malcolm --and you can see some of his photos on his blog linked here "The Adventures of Mad Mal and Hobbes)- into the pillows. Other pillows have been painted, machine embroidered, stamped, appliqued, beaded, etc. -each a unique design and technique.









My wife is certainly a busy bee, trying out new techniques in new ways, always expanding her repertoire.
