Wine Boxes (Pyrographic Acrylic Paintings)

I came across pictures of wine boxes I had burnt and then painted with acrylics as I was going through my art works. I layered the washes of colour onto the images and so I do not add all the burnt lines and shades as do many pyrographers.
Nature continues to crop up in my art work in this period of my art development. I had not done them before and so challenged myself. I try to not draw or paint every feather but look to create an attitude with the characteristic pose.
