Woodburning and Painting Furniture

I had made this heritage blanket chest to go up to our cottage. The images (as noted by one of the panels shown here) relate to some of the water life that surrounds our island on a small inland lake.
I burnt the underwater images into the 6 wood panels and top before I had built the chest. Then I painted the images with acrylic paints.
I have also done such work upon the lintels inside the cottage. I have more surfaces to work on when I can get the time away from building and repairs.
I use this method to decorate music and trinket boxes, as well as used and new furniture.
